Sawyer-Medlicott House : ウィキペディア英語版 | Sawyer-Medlicott House
The Sawyer-Medlicott House is a historic house at the junction of Bradford and River Roads in Piermont, New Hampshire. The 2-1/2 story brick house was built c. 1820, and is the only Federal style brick building in the town. The house was built for Joseph Sawyer, a real estate speculator and politician. The brick was laid predominantly in common bond, with some rows laid in stretcher bond for variety. Four slender chimneys pierce the gabled roof. The main facade, which faces east, has five bays, with central entry framed by partial sidelights and fluted pilasters, and topped by a segmented fanlight and an elliptical outer surround that is decorated with rosetts and rope moulding.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=NRHP nomination for Sawyer-Medlicott House )〕 The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.〔 ==See also==
